What’s this?
Moved with the Current Account Switch Service. Banks usually count a Direct Debit only if it has taken a payment recently; a new one that hasn’t been paid yet often doesn’t count. Each offer’s terms say exactly what counts. - Joint accountsA joint account switches into a new joint account in both your names, so you both apply, and the bank pays one reward between you, not one each. The terms apply their past-account and past-reward rules to both of you.In the terms: FAQ: Can I switch a joint account? Yes; to open it online, both of you log in to the app or online banking
- Start the switch by Wed 9 Dec Up to you laterIn the terms: Conditions: start your switch by 9 Dec 2026
- No switching offer from Lloyds, Halifax or Bank of Scotland since 2023 Check before you applyIn the terms: Exclusions: received a switching offer from Lloyds, Bank of Scotland or Halifax since 1 Jan 2023
- Monthly fee of £5.00 while you keep the account Taken by the bank, counted
- Paid within 14 working days of the switch starting: The terms can be read two ways; Pocketly plans for the later one.
Not counted: Club Lloyds £5 monthly fee is refunded in any month you pay in £2,000 or more; Pocketly counts the fee unless you say you can pay in that much every month.
