Pocketly’s offers, as data
The 11 offers Pocketly holds, from each bank’s own terms, with the words behind every condition. Free to use under CC BY 4.0: say it came from Pocketly.
The data
/api/v1/offers.json- Every offer: what it pays and what Pocketly counts, each condition with the clause it comes from, who can’t get it, the source document’s fingerprint, and how recently it was checked.
/api/v1/offers/id.json- One offer, by the id in its page’s address.
/api/v1/changes.json- Every edition published, newest first: the same log as offer changes.
/api/v1/openapi.json- An OpenAPI description, for tools and AI assistants.
/llms.txt- A plain-text summary for assistants and crawlers.
https://www.pocketly.co.uk/mcp- An MCP server (Streamable HTTP) for AI assistants: list the offers, get one, check which fit a situation, list savers and cashback, list changes. Add it to an assistant as a remote MCP server; no key needed.
Check a situation
The quick check as a call: the same planner and the same answer as the page. Amounts are in pounds.
curl -s https://www.pocketly.co.uk/api/v1/check \
-H 'Content-Type: application/json' \
-d '{"bank":"barclays","directDebits":2,"householdBills":true,"cash":1500,"buffer":0,"cardSpending":true,"salary":true}'
It answers with the best order, what’s left after costs, each offer that doesn’t fit and why, and what it assumed. The fingerprint identifies the calculation: the same answers on the same day give the same one.
What it never does
- Store what you send. The check is worked out and forgotten, as on the page; only a count per address is kept, for 15 minutes, for the limit below.
- Ask for sign-in or a key.
- Rank offers for money: Pocketly takes no commission or referral fees.
Up to 60 checks every 15 minutes from one address. The data is cached for 5 minutes. Terms change: each offer says when it was last checked, and the bank’s own terms are final.
