How banks paid
Each quarter, how each bank paid the switchers Pocketly tracked, measured against the bank’s own terms.
The first report covers October to December 2026. It appears in January 2027, if at least 3 banks each have 10 switches settled in the quarter.
Until then nothing is published: a handful of switches can’t say how a bank pays.
How it’s counted
- Settled
- A switching reward that was paid in the quarter, or whose last day to be paid fell in it without a payment. Rewards paid month by month aren’t counted.
- Paid on time
- Paid by the last day the bank’s own terms allow, read the way Pocketly’s planner reads them for that switch.
- Paid late
- Paid after that day; “usually” is the median number of days late.
- Paid short
- Less than the terms say.
- Not paid by the deadline
- Still unpaid on the last day of the quarter, after the terms’ last day.
- Usually paid
- The median number of days from the switch completing to the payment.
From what people record about their own switches in Pocketly: the offer, the plan and the dates, never who. A bank appears only with at least 10 settled switches in the quarter, and a report says anything only when at least 3 banks do, so no one’s switch can be picked out and a handful of switches isn’t taken for how a bank pays.
Each report stays as it was published. If a number turns out wrong, a dated correction is added beneath it.
